He destroyed in March his ankle, and since then an operation and long-term rest and rehabilitation going on for Stokes talented keeper Jack Butland.
Now, however, he back in action when he last played 45 minutes in training fight against Burtin Albion, which incidentally was lost with 3-0. Butland closed except goals when he was on target in a goalless first half.
– I’m really happy to be back and get some minutes. It was also important for me mentally. Last time I match, I broke the ankle, so getting through this fight without issues were important to me.
– I met in two weeks earlier than the others and has worked hard to come back. There have always been people from the medical staff present, and they helped me through a lot. They’ve got me back, and I owe them everything. I have no pain anymore and it is their merit, have Butland told the club’s official website.
23-year-old Jack Butland has been on contract in Stoke since 2013.
